What I couldn't live without

It's 5 degrees below zero this morning and things are a little slow around here- well sort of. As usual the horse water (automatic) was froze up, so this morning at 6 I was out breaking pails of water and I now have a collection sitting in my mud room thawing out. I decided to take part of the day off and do billing and house work- does that count as off? I will go out to work this afternoon when maybe it warms up to 0...

So as I sit here this morning I got to thinking about what I love, what is important to me and what I would have a hard time living without. I have been making changes in my life for some time now. Getting rid of all the clutter and things that I don't need in life. If it's not on my list, I 'think' I can do without it.

So here it is, in no particular order...

1) My husband

2) My animals-Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Horses... They get me moving everyday and make me smile. They are cheap entertainment, and they would live in the house with me if only Scott would let them...This is a picture from last year, when we had snow...

3)My Parents

4)My garden- My relaxation, work, and sustenance.

5)My bibs, jacket, and bomber cap- A necessity around here.

6)The best ever beef, chicken, or veggie bases. Could probably live
without, but I love it!

7) My own business.

8)Last but not least-My home sweet home. Doesn't that green lawn look wonderful?

What couldn't you live without? Do you have too much junk in your life?

I have a staggering amount of junk in my life. But I currently have obligations that overrule some of my desires (raising kids, mostly). I try to simplify every chance I get, but it's a long road, and I don't think it should ever have an end.

This is actually the exact thing I am going through right now. I had sooo much junk and am still in the processing if decluttering, simplifying and "quieting" my life to know and appreciate what is truly important. I think you have a great list. I also could not live without my husband or my insane kitties!
